“Highlights” Exhibition showcases Dearborn artists, students June 28-July 22

The DCAC and the Padzieski Art Gallery present an art exhibition of “Highlights” from recent shows by the Artists’ Society of Dearborn (ASD) and the Dearborn Public Schools with an opening party on Wednesday, June 28 from 6-8 p.m. This impressive exhibition representing a wide range of works from the many talented young artists of Dearborn Public Schools and the more experienced members of the ASD runs through July 22.

“Highlights: Artists’ Society of Dearborn and Dearborn Public Schools” is a display of outstanding artwork from local students created in 2-D and 3-D formats, including jewelry, ceramics and other media. The students' work is shown alongside some of the best from the ASD and their most recent exhibitions including their “challenge” to create a toy-themed work of art.

The opening party is FREE and open to the public on Wednesday, June 28 from 6-8 p.m. Refreshment will be served. The gallery’s regular program “Teatime with the Artists” scheduled for July 20 from 2-3 p.m. is also free. Come celebrate Dearborn’s talented youth along with the more experienced artists of our creative community.

The Padzieski Art Gallery is free and open Tuesdays through Fridays from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m.
